Finally Online!

Cassidy had her first trip to California last month. She met Great Grandparents, Great Great Grandparents, Great Great Uncles, high school friends and more. She even took her first dip in Rights Lake. Mom spared her from the cold Ocean.

One of the best parts of the trip was taking a five generation picture with Nana, Great Grandmother Gade, Grandma Christenson, Mom and Cassidy. It was really neat to have so many generations in one room.

Cassi's California Trip

Chris and I can't believe how fast our little girl is growing up. The hardest part so far has been trying to keep her from sucking on her thumb! Since she has found her hand, she wont let it go. She has even taken to grabbing her pacifier and pulling it out so she can replace it with her fist. She can fit all but two fingers in. I would probably get mad if she wasn't so darn cute!
Her other favorite thing right now is a little brown teddy bear blanket. It is soft and fuzzy enough for her to grab and she loves to cuddle it. It's so fun to see her grabbing things and learning how to play.

Chris and I can't wait until she can finally fit into some swim diapers. Her favorite part of the day is her bath. Chris is determined to have her swimming as soon as he was when he was a kid. I think she has a great start so far. She kicks so hard in the tub that she keeps her whole body off the bottom of the tub except for her head. I barely hold it up. She has all but her eyes and mouth in the water and she loves it! She is such a little water bug already.

Chris' job is going great. We love that he gets done by three. Now that he is used to getting in by 6:00am, he loves it. Lately, we have been fishing a lot. I have never caught a fish and it's Chris' goal in life right now to get me to catch one. We'll see what happens! This week is fly fishing lessons.
